Typical Nile Cruises

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

Here at River-Nile-Cruises we have an extensive range of Nile cruises. Having been in the business for quite some time now, we fully understand what you want from a river Nile cruise. We know that there are certain factors that can make or break a good cruise. These factors are mainly centred around two main concepts, being quality and variation. We know that to have a great time on a cruise, everything from food to booking processes must be only to the highest standard. We also recognise that the experience, having insights into a different culture, historical monuments and such things are very important.

Our river Nile cruises come within a high quality package. With 4 and 5 star cruises available to book all year round, you are sure of a quality stay. On many of our Nile cruises, food and drink are covered within the price, offering an all inclusive holiday. All food and drink is of course only prepared with passion at mind, with mouth watering dishes available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

On the experience side of things, Egypt really has this covered herself. Once the greatest empire on the Earth, Egypt has some of the most amazing sights on the face of the planet. Not only can you see the great pyramids from the river Nile, but many other breath taking sights. Lake Nasser, a vast and beautiful reservoir, is an absolute must see if you are cruising down the Nile, and this can be fully arranged through us.

Preparing for Your River Nile Holiday

Friday, July 16th, 2010

When you book a Nile cruise deal and you are thinking about which clothes to take on your holiday, choose items that are made out of cotton or other light material that is comfortable but not too heavy on your body.

Sandals or light comfortable shoes will be an asset and a large bag that is large enough to carry insect repellent, suntan lotion and the gifts that you purchase from many of the local bazaars.

If you decide to disembark from your Nile cruise ship to explore Luxor on the west bank of the Nile, the world famous Valley of the Kings is an essential sight to see.

The scenery around the River Nile is a beautiful green colour and yet the Valley of the Kings is a large area of white spiritual desert.

The pharaohs were buried in this once remote area, and it was hoped that the tombs would be left alone. However, it was not to be, as all but three tombs were plundered for their treasures.

However, they are still a fascinating place to visit. There are still pictures and carvings inside the tombs on view for all tourists to see as the dryness of the climate contributed to their preservation.

When you return to your Nile cruise ship you will bring back with you vivid memories of these tombs which you will remember for the rest of your life.

At RiverNileCruise.com we have available a wide range of Nile cruise deals to suit everyone.

The Luxury Of The Sailing Up The River Nile On A Cruise Ship

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

All throughout its history Egypt has been dominated with boats.

In the early days the only way you could get up and down the river was by boat. Transporting people and crops was a daily part of life for the Egyptians, it was said the Gods used boats to travel up and down the River Nile along with the souls of the dead.

Today in this modern world with its various methods of transport the River Nile cruises are a welcome sight on its waters.

Since the time of the Pharaohs the primary transport was called a Felucca which is a barge the Egyptians used to move bulk material up and down the River Nile, depending on the breeze of the day and the flowing current.

Nile Cruise ships can be seen gliding up and down the River Nile with the Egyptians waving at the tourists as they go about their daily routine.

When you look towards the banks of this famous river you can also spot a wide variety of animals, birds and fish who call Egypt their home.

Sailing up and down the river Nile and taking pictures of these animals living along side of the Egyptians is a breathtaking experience of nature and man coming together in a peaceful environment, no stress just calmness.

At One small Step Travel we have available a range of luxury Nile cruises or one of our cheap Nile cruises.
