On a secluded, unspoilt coral beach appoximately 20 km south of Hurghada. There is a daily shuttle bus service several times a day, free of charge, to the Grand Mall in Hurghada. Due to the natural coral beach, footwear is recommended.

Facilities at the Grand Makadi include a swimming pool, private beach (unsuitable for kids as it has a rocky entrance); sun loungers with complimentary towels, parasols, fitness room located in the sister hotel (Grand Hotel), tennis (payable locally), aerobics, 24 hr reception desk. Family facilities at the Grand Makadi include a kid's swimming pool, kid's menu, play ground, games room and play room, hotel run children's club for age 4 - 12 yrs, cots are available.
The Grand Makadi Accommodation
The accommodation at the Grand Makadi consist of 302 rooms set over 5 blocks with 3 floors and 3 lifts, the air conditioned deluxe rooms include a double bed, bathroom with a shower located over the bath, wc, mini bar (chargeable locally), hair dryer, balconies with a mountain or garden view. Sea or garden views are available in the junior suites.
The Grand Makadi Dining
Dining options at the Grand Makadi consist of three a la carte restaurants serving a range of cuisines (charge for Lebanese restaurant), an Oriental restaurant and a buffet restaurant, snack bar and Grand Cafe. Various bars (some payable).
All Inclusive
Breakfast buffet (0700 - 1030), lunch (1300-1500) and dinner (1830-2200) - Dinner at Pool Island (Caribbean) or Leonardo's (Italian), reservation required - Afternoon snacks (1200-1700) - Tea, coffee and pastries and the Grand Cafe (1530-1700) - a selection of soft drinks, including tea and coffee and local alcoholic beverages (1000 - midnight) - Aerobics - evening entertainment. A suitable dress code is required.
